Veteran transition that actually lands a career
How our placement and certification programs are helping veterans land roles aligned to their experience.
Veteran transition programs are easy to launch and hard to run well. The best ones share a common trait: they treat the veteran as a candidate with a career, not a checkbox on a diversity report.
At DCL, our transition work begins with a real conversation about the next ten years, not the next three months. From there, we align certifications, training, and placement to a destination role — not the first available role.
Concretely, that means leadership credentialing for officers and NCOs moving into program management, technical certifications for veterans entering cybersecurity and IT, and operations training for those headed into logistics and supply roles.
We are deliberately a small program. Each cohort gets a dedicated coach, and each placement is supported through the first ninety days. The number we care about is not initial placement; it is retention at twelve months, and progression at twenty-four.
For veterans considering the transition: bring your discipline and your judgment. We will help with the rest.
