On-Site IT & Network Support Specialist
DCL seeks a dependable on-site IT professional to support the Baltimore-area operations site of a Maryland statewide program. You will keep endpoints, the local network, and secure connections to State systems running, and serve as the local hands and eyes for the program’s remote engineering teams.

- $105,000–$136,000 per year, based on experience and certifications
- Schedule
- Full-time, Normal State Business Hours, with occasional after-hours support for system restoration
- Start
- Contingent upon contract award (anticipated spring 2027)
This position is contingent upon contract award to DCL’s prime contractor partner and execution of DCL’s subcontract. Anticipated start is spring 2027 (subject to the State’s award timeline), beginning with a four-month transition-in period. This position is planned as an optional addition to DCL’s scope and will be filled only if included in the final award..
Key responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for staff endpoints, peripherals, and call-center workstations.
- Maintain local network infrastructure and secure VPN/gateway connectivity to State systems, following State secure-transmission protocols.
- Apply patches and secure configuration baselines; escalate security events to the security engineer.
- Coordinate with remote engineering teams on outages, changes, and restorations.
- Maintain asset inventory and support onboarding and offboarding of staff access.
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support and network administration experience.
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ (or equivalent, such as CCNA).
- Experience with Windows/Microsoft 365 endpoint management, VPNs, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Authorized to work in the United States; all work must be performed within the continental United States.
- Ability to pass a background check and to complete required State of Maryland security and privacy training and confidentiality agreements before accessing program systems or data.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting contact-center telephony or VoIP environments.
- Experience in government or regulated environments.
